Flashside Plus
Plus. For learners with a date.
Plus is for learners with something coming up: an exam in a few weeks, a language test with a date, a semester with more cards than days. Learning with Flashside stays free; Plus is the part that costs us money to run.

If this sounds like you
An exam in a few weeks
The card doctor fixes the cards you keep failing, the AI quiz tests you before the day, and a picture import turns your notes into cards.
A language level with a test date
Natural voices read every card aloud, memory hooks make new words stick, and translation fills in the other side while you write.
A semester with more cards than days
Import a whole PDF at once, let the coach plan your week, and fix the cards that keep coming back.
What Plus adds
What a Plus learner gets
Natural voices
Cards read aloud by a neural voice, kept for offline study.
Each voice clip is made by a speech service we pay for.
Translation while you write
Fill in the other side of a card in your language pair, for one card or a whole deck.
Every translation is a call to an AI model.
AI quizzes
A quiz written by AI from the cards of a deck, for you to check and take. What you miss comes back in your reviews. Writing a quiz yourself is free, with no limit on its length.
Writing the questions is a call to an AI model.
1 AI-generated quiz a month free
Card doctor
Better ways to write a card you keep failing. You choose the fix, or none.
The suggestions are written by an AI model for your card.
3 fixes a month free
Weekly coach note
Three things to do this week, from how your last week of study went.
The note is written by an AI model from your week.
Once a month free
“Why did I miss this?”
When a card you were sure of turns out wrong: why you missed it, and a cue to add to the back.
Each explanation is written by an AI model.
Cards from a picture
A photographed page or a PDF becomes cards to check, instead of typing them word by word.
Reading the page is a call to an AI model.
1 picture a month free
Memory hooks
A one-sentence hook the first time you meet a new card.
Each hook is written by an AI model.
20 hooks a month free, then one a day
Look-alikes told apart
What tells two cards you keep mixing up apart, in one sentence for both.
The sentence is written by an AI model for your pair.
The free allowances are per signed-in Flashside account and start again each month.
